| EPI is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing ecological education partnerships between scientists and high school students to address critical conservation issues. EPI brings high school students from the United States and developing countries to conservation hot spots where they work alongside scientists to learn about and help protect threatened species. Participants who arrive from around the world meet and collaborate with their international peers. Since our inception in 2000, over 5,000 people have participated in our programs in the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, the Galapagos Islands, the Sea of Cortez in Mexico, and in Yellowstone in Montana. |
